Typical Uses

A high gloss, air dry, water thinned enamel that provides outstanding adhesion, durability and overall performance. Corrosion inhibitors allow this product to be applied with or without a primer. An ideal product for use on racks, cranes, gas cylinders and metal containers for interior or exterior use. Not recommended direct to galvanized, aluminum or for use in immersion service. This product is lead, chromate and mercury free.

Surface Preparation

Surface must be free of moisture, grease or other contaminants. Remove loose paint, mill scale, rust, etc by hand tool cleaning (SP2), power tool cleaning (SP3) or abrasive blasting.

Spray Application

The following is a guide; suitable equipment from other manufacturers may be used. Changes in pressure and tip size may be needed for proper spray characteristics.

• Airless or air assisted airless – Standard equipment or air assist using 1000-1500 psi. with a 0.011-0.013- tip.
• Conventional spray – Industrial equipment such as DeVilbiss, Binks or Graco.

Application Data

• Method: Airless or conventional spray, limited brush or roller
• Temperature: Minimum 55°F air and surface. Surface temperatures must be at least 5°F (3°C) above dew point to prevent condensation.
• Drying time: @ 77° F & 50% RH
  • Tack free: 20-30 minutes
  • Recoat: No critical recoat time
• Reduction: None required
• Clean up: Water
• Custom factory packaged colors available 50 gal min., 10 days lead time
